eBay Hummel Goebel Figuriner Flower Madonna & Child Goebel W. Germany V mark with Full Bee (1960-1972) Embossed 10/1 Crown, Artist Initials in Script Black Paper label at the back bottom with M.J. Hummel incised mark.Rare and exquisitely handpainted by the artist whose initials is hand- script in black ink at the bottom which makes this piece valuable as the details of the face are very important that provides the innocent expression so well known with all M.J.. Hummel figurines. The figurine is of the Mary Madonna and baby Jesus pointing at the flower that she is holding. A bird meticously painted with life like colors on a open book at her lap. Truly a markedly amazing and collectible figurine Measurements: 8 1/4" Great to excellent condition, w/o any chips annoy breaks, colors are well kept . There is grazing esp at the bottom and not prominent from a distance, present at the glaze due to heat and moisture differences, does not change the value much and adds to its character and authentic age of the piece.Please check photos closely for your further evaluation.
