1935-42 Goebel MI Hummel Lamps Boy Girl Apple Tree Dog Germany Out of Danger
SOLD $295.00 Sold: Feb 5, 2024 on eBayOriginal Listing Description
eBay Rare and Highly collectible Pair of M I Hummel, Goebel Table Lamps. 12” Height. Made in Pre WWII Germany between 1935-1942. Titled “Out Of Danger” Both a little girl and boy have escaped a cute doggy by climbing an apple tree. The girl lamp is in Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Original wiring intact. The doggy on the boy lamp has a broken, missing ear. See photos. This lamp was rewired in the 1950’s 60’s so the switch mechanism has been traded out, and differs from the girl lamp. I have not tested them to see if they work. The electric wiring should be replaced before operating. Incredible early Hummel pieces. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
