Size: 10.75”Year: 2006Item #2254 Limited Edition #237 out of 3,000Rare Hummel Goebel piece from their “Moments in Time” collection titled “Can I Play?” Featuring a trio of children with one seated on a swing being approached by a snowy white goose wanting to play. The swing she is seated on is attached to the tree by twine. There is a young boy seemingly hiding behind a tree, stick in hand, and a young girl shielding herself behind the child on the swing. This piece is handpainted and truly breathtaking in person with beautiful colors and patterns throughout. It arrives to you in its original box with original foam for extra protection during transit. The original Certificate of Authenticity is also included with the sale, written in both English and German and signed by MJ Hummel. It has been stored in a glass cabinet for protection from dust for its lifespan and has no crazing, chips, or cracks. While the piece itself is in excellent condition, PLEASE NOTE the box and foam does show some signs of shelf wear, including dents, scrapes, and some discoloration.
