The first Hummel in the Goebel Hummel series was Puppy Love. He always had the number 1 incised on his base until Goebel announced his retirement around 1988. The last pieces were made and dated 1989. During his production from 1935 when first introduced, he sported NEARLY every trademark the Goebel factory used. The exception is the 4th Trademark "Three Line" stylized bee. I want sell this rare and hard to find MI Hummel figurine, under the base is the number 600 in black letters, the trademark 6 and the copyright date 1989 also under the base is the MASTERPAINTER sign Ki 4.90 means Franz Kirchner in april 1990. On the base is in blue color written " ARBEITSMUSTER ", this shows us that this is not a normal piece it is a MASTERPIECE, PLEASE look to the pictures.
